Note: These are the projects that I worked on with my wonderful design team at Expresiv Studios. We have created so many design solutions together. But due to NDA, I am unable to show so many apps that we had designed in the past. I have worked as a Junior Designer; I also earned the trust of my team to lead many design projects, but I never worked alone on any of them. The projects that I have listed below are a result of the team's hard work, dedication, coordination.
On this project, I took the lead of the design for the front-face of the website while collaborating with the development team, product manager, and the brand and animation team.
Go-to websiteThis project is a product of Advanced Pedagogy. On this project, I took the lead of the design for the website while collaborating with the development team, product manager, and the brand and animation team. I also assisted in the product design (an online-learning platform), and helped the marketing team in creating the branding strategies and marketing collaterals.
Go-to websiteFig&Goat is a Dallas-based charcuterie board company. As colorful as their plates are, I created a bright and aesthetically-pleasing e-commerce website for them. For this project, I led the design team and conducted a UX study of their current website to redesign and create a brand-new website that complimented their branding, as well as the icons and illustrations. This was a short-duration project where I collaborated with the development team along with the stakeholder.
Go-to websiteLet's hear it from the talented CEO, Mr. Ashish Shrestha himself-
"For starters, let the work do the talking. Here is the landing page that Barsa and her team at expresiv studio made for HoneyGuide: https://honeyguideapps.com/.
As a travel company specializing in mountain travel, we wanted our landing page to be viscerally visual and reinforce the HoneyGuide brand. To these ends, Barsa did a fantastic job.
The planning and cross-functional meetings were handled not just professionally but also in an enjoyable way. These meetings set the stage for alignment between the UX, Visual Design, and Development Team later on.
Once everyone understood the big picture, I remember how Barsa went to lengths to come up with multiple ideas. The discussions we had around the pitches were very candid, and I found her very open to suggestions and revisions. One of the best things to come out of these collaborative sessions was the mountain parallax. Not a day goes by today without someone mentioning how cool that parallax is and how they keep on scrolling up and down in the HoneyGuide landing page to see the parallax effect. Another thing that I was very impressed with was her ability to find and balance complementary colors, even for a difficult color like bright yellow.
I will always be very thankful to Barsa for all the hard work and creativity that she poured into the HoneyGuide landing page. I wish this amicable, open-minded, and curious UX designer all the best with her career."
Insight Workshop, a company filled with extraordinary tech talents, approached Expresiv to design their website. I collaborated with the development team and animator to design their website, while also creating illustrations from scratch. Our good relation led to another project, called Momentum Shift, where we collaboratively worked to create a fitness app for Gym-khana Muaythai, Nepal's biggest gym and fitness center.
Go-to websiteThis task is a small project, which I did under the supervision of my team leader during my first six months at Expresiv. I created an interactive cost-calculator for CEDA that helped users to get an estimation about the price for building a house or a bungalow. Please try it by clicking below.
